Administration Office, Rice Mill — Ogoja, Cross River
A two-storey administration and welfare block serving the Ogoja rice-mill complex, delivered under a state agriculture-development programme. Scope covered structural works, MEP installation, and site infrastructure integration with the wider mill.
What the project set out to do
- Provide administration, welfare, and technical office space
- Integrate with the mill's power and water utilities
- Deliver on a compressed programme aligned with the mill's commissioning
What we were up against
The Ogoja location required careful materials-supply planning to prevent programme disruption.
The building had to tie into the mill's dedicated substation and water-treatment infrastructure.
How we delivered
Consolidated deliveries reduced logistics risk and unit cost on remote-site materials.
Reinforced-concrete frame with block infill, single-cell electrical distribution board fed from the mill LV substation, and connection to the mill potable-water reticulation.
Delivered under lump-sum contract with in-house supervisory team and local labour development. Programme managed on MS Project.
All finishes handed over snag-free after third-party QS inspection.
Building commissioned in time to receive administration and technical staff for the rice-mill startup phase.
